Mattoni Grand Drink 2010 World Championship
On Saturday 2nd October 2010, Prague hosted the Mattoni Grand Drink, traditional and the most prestigious world competition of professional bartenders in preparation of non-alcoholic cocktails, first time ever held as World Championship.
This year was ruled by bartenders from the former Eastern Bloc. Slovenian Stojan Křižman won the first prize with his „I love Mattoni“ cocktail. Despite the stoic performance without large effects and relatively traditional recipe (pineapple, strawberries, oranges and vanilla), he convinced the jury made up of National Bartenders Association presidents and took $ 10 000 check. Another $ 5000 acquired his parent Bartenders Association. Second place got Lukasz Wojcik from Poland, as the third one placed Russian Olga Markevichová.
